5 Things to Include in a Listing

When composing a property listing, you need to keep it short and sweet to keep the viewers attention. However, you still need to include all the necessary information.

Here are five key topics to include in a listing:

Property features.

The viewer wants to know what this house has to offer, first of all. How many bedrooms, how many baths, is there a garage, are pets allowed? Etc.

Photos.

Visuals are very important, as people will want to get an idea for what the property looks like. It also allows them to visualize themselves in the space.

Rent and fees.

It is important to include how much rent will be charged for the potential renter to know if they can afford the property. Additional fees should also be included, such as pet fees or payment of the gas and electric.

Location and description of the area.

Give the location of the property along with a description of the surrounding area, such as nearby parks, shopping or restaurants. This gives the reader a feel for the type of neighborhood they would be living in.

Availability and contact info.

Include the dates that the property will be available for the potential renter to know if this property will accommodate their needs. And of course, contact info will be needed to show interest in the property.
