Dealing with government on many levels is a part of being a property manager. Having someone who is versed in the laws that surround your propoerty is important. This will allow you to stay compliant without having to know everything yourself.

Making sure they are organized within their office to be able to handle your property propoerly is important. If they are not, it could come back in problems that could easily have been avoidable with simple due-dilligence in the office.

Being able to articulate in a professional manner with prospective tenants and contractors to take care of your investment. They have to know when to stand firm and when to give. Building trust with clients is important to making the partnership with you and everyone else easy to continue.
