Move-Out Guide
Real Property Management Last Frontier understands that moving out can be a busy time. Our Move-Out Guide provides essential checklists and resources to simplify your transition, keeping it organized and stress-free. Access our self-help education portal to assist with every step of the process.
Giving Proper Notice
Before moving out, review the notice requirements detailed in your lease. For example, if your lease ends June 30th, submit your notice by May 30th to comply. After removing personal items, completing a full cleaning, and returning all keys, Real Property Management Last Frontier will conduct a move-out inspection. Please note: keys, postal keys, and garage remotes must be returned before re-entry is no longer permitted.
Your Essential Move-Out Checklist
As you prepare to leave your home, here’s a comprehensive checklist to help guide you through the move-out process:
Review Your Lease Agreement
Before initiating your move-out, revisit your lease agreement to understand the terms related to your move-out notice, cleaning requirements, and deposit refund policies.
Provide Notice to Vacate
Notify our office at [email protected] of your intention to vacate in writing, as required by your lease agreement. Please provide a clear date for your move-out, allowing us adequate time to prepare for the next resident.
Repair Damages
If there are any minor damages that you are responsible for, consider fixing them prior to your move-out. This could include nail holes in the walls, broken fixtures, or other repairs as outlined in your lease.
Clean the Property
Thoroughly clean your residence before leaving. Pay special attention to kitchens and bathrooms, as these areas are often scrutinized during inspections. A clean space will help ensure a faster refund of your security deposit.
Personal Final Walk-Through
We recommend conducting a personal walk-through of the property. This will help identify any potential issues and allow you to address them before your final move-out.
Return Keys and Access Devices
Be sure to return all keys, garage remotes, and access cards to our office. This includes any copies you may have made during your tenancy.
